“wow what a gem! we will be using this lovely cottage every time when in Hanmer. it was so clean, we joked that the cleaners should get a medal! within 2 minute walk to all cafes and the thermal pools, within 3 min walk to the beautiful forest walks and only a short drive to pristine hikes around jacks pass.
everything you need is provided, plus outdoor seating areas, whether it's a coffee to watch the world go past on the front porch or nibbles in the back yard. plus a garage full of fun incl table tennis and pool!
everything was perfect, I highly recommend to stay here during a hanmer holiday.

“Book with confidence!! We have stayed in a lot of airbnbs on our NZ road trip and this was the best and easiest one of the trip. Hosts were super helpful and flexible. The house is new and pristine and so comfortable. Quick 5 minute walk to the pools and lots of restaurants and the grocery store. Loved our quick 2 night stay here. Would absolutely return or recommend to a friend.”

“The minute we walked into the house, we felt comfortably at home. So many extras are provided - to enjoy warm weather, or make the best of cold weather - making the stay in Hanmer Springs even more enjoyable. I upped my skill level on both pool and pac man, and enjoyed a cosy house on a very cold day. Board games are just waiting there too. On a warm day we could have sat outside in a lovely private covered outdoor area. It was obvious that the guests comfort was carefully considered and catered for. In addition, a couple of stand outs was (1) the location is fantastic (a small walk to the pools or the many restaurants and cafes) (2) proactive and responsiveness communication - the best I have experienced to date. I can't add much to what all the prior positive reviews have said, except to say if you're old enough to remember playing PAC-MAN as a child/youth, then budget some extra time in the game-room because the temptation to play 3 hours in a row may be irresistible :)
Also, we highly recommend the Stone Grill menu at Saints Cafe. Lastly, the 30-minute hike to 5 Mile Creek Waterfall just beyond Lewis Pass was life-changing for everyone in our group.
This tidy, clean, well-appointed home will be our go-to option in Hamner forevermore.”

“Wow what an amazing and totally gorgeous cottage. We didn’t want to leave. Super cosy and warm, immaculately clean, lovely relaxing decor, had everything you needed. Felt like a home away from home. The best air bnb we have stayed in so far. Even though we were lovely and warm inside, we were impressed that they had heating in the hallway and each bedroom came with their own heating panels and electric blankets too if needed. The games room was a hit and our group of 6 had lots of fun there.
It’s waking distance from everything and away from main roads, so nice and peaceful at night.
Hosts Ryan and Ania were a pleasure to deal with and they were very accommodating with sorting a Portacot for our toddler on arrival so we appreciated that’s. We can’t wait to come back again :-)”

“My sister, niece and I had a fantastic time at your gorgeous cottage and definitely will return. It looks stunning in the photos but in person, it’s even better. It has absolutely everything you’d ever need - but with stunning style. True bliss! And it’s an easy walk to the hot pools, the forest walls are so close - we walked everywhere with ease. Coolest front door lock ever! Amazing garage entertainment area that we didn’t use as there was no time - but it looks such fun! We were on a girls weekend and we were impressed we could watch a few perfect movies on your well set-up tv system in the evenings. Easy to dial up some classic chick flicks so that was great and relaxing on the most comfy couch we have ever experienced was sublime. Thank you so much for this very special experience we’ll never forget.”

“We were very impressed with the cottage and Had a wonderful stay! Everything inside the cottage felt extremely high quality, comfortable, clean, and immaculate. It was a really lovely space to hang out in and had everything we could need. Beds all had heated electric blankets, which was a real treat in this chilly autumn weather! The games room in the garage was a real bonus for our family too! My son loved the old school PacMan machine! Very easy walking distance to the pools and restaurants. We will be back!”

It was -4 when we stayed and you never would have known with the cosy heating the house offered! 2 heat pumps plus heaters in each room made it just perfect.
